 Darnecia Garner
Darnecia Garner is the Practice Administrator for the Department of Plastic Surgery with over 18 years of healthcare experience. Prior to joining UT Plastic Surgeons, Darnecia worked at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, where she was Clinical Business Manager for Perioperative Services. She has a long background in health care practice administration, including three years as District Operations Manager for Universal Hospital Services and four years as Clinic Administrator for the UT Cancer Institute.
A member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, she earned her bachelor's degree in organizational management from Bethel University and is currently pursuing a master's degree in health services administration. |

 Julie Runnels
Julie Runnels is the supervisor for the Department of Plastic Surgery. Julie has over 5 years of experience and expertise in the field of medical aesthetics. She helps patients with their decision making progress by making herself available to answer all pre and post operative questions as well as provide materials that continue to educate patients about their surgery. She also is responsible for consulting with all new cosmetic patients, scheduling surgeries, and assisting in post operative care. She helps to provide superior patient service throughout the cosmetic surgical process making it an easy and enjoyable journey by earning the trust of patients through her dedication to our physicians and the services they provide. Julie is married with four grown children and four stepchildren. She and her husband enjoy scuba diving, sailing, photography and traveling. Julie has been with UT Medical Group since 2009.

 Ellen Watson
Ellen Watson is the medical office assistant for the Department of Plastic Surgery. She has been with the plastic surgery department for four years. Prior to joining the Department of Plastic Surgery, Ellen worked for Labcorp for ten years. She graduated from Norwest Mississippi Junior College and attended Mississippi State University. She has been married to Troy Watson for 21 years and is the mother of one child, Morgan Watson who attends Kentucky Weselyan College in Owensboro, Kentucky on a vollyball scholarship. Ellen enjoys working with the patients and the physicians and is often the first face that many patients see when coming to our clinic. Ellen has been with UT Medical Group since 2007.

 Davida Hughes
Davida Hughes is a plastic surgery nurse specialist. Davida graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a bachelor of science in nursing. She began her career at the University of Arkansas and moved to Memphis 2 years ago. During her career she has had the opportunity to practice in many different areas including kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant care as well as oncology/hematology, telemetry/cardiology, urology, endocrinology and gastroenterology. She brings these skills to us now in plastic surgery. She holds certifications in chemotherapy, basic life support and is a member of the American Nursing Association and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. Davida has been with UT Medical Group since 2010.

 Amanda Meek
Amanda Meek is the senior executive assistant in the Department of Plastic Surgery. She has been working in the medical field for 14 years. She graduated from McGavock Comprehensive High School in Nashville in 1995 and graduated from Nashville College of Medical Careers in 1996. She has been in the Memphis area since 1999. Amanda has been married for 12 years and has three children. She enjoys family trips to the beach and snow skiing. Amanda has been with UT Medical Group for ten years. She has worked in primary care and obstetrics and gynecology for UT Medical Group, and she has been with the plastic surgery department since September of 2010.
